Why stand with Israel?

God chose the Jewish people to be a special people set apart from the rest of the nations.
(Ref. 2 Samuel 7:24)

He gave commandments and instructions on how they should live and conduct themselves as a unique nation that would introduce the Messiah and play a pivotal role in the history of the world. (Ref. Isaiah 49:6)  

The land of Canaan was given to them as an inheritance from God. (Ref. Psalm 105: 10-11)

They were scattered around the world in disobedience, regathered back to their land and established as a nation to fulfill God’s purposes. (Ref. Jeremiah 31:10 & Jeremiah 16:15)

It was prophesied in the book of Zechariah that Jerusalem would be a city of international conflict, precisely what we are witnessing today. (Ref. Zechariah 12:2)
 
It has been rightly stated by others, “If the Palestinians were to lay down their weapons there would be no more war. If the Israelis laid down their weapons there would be no more Israel.”
 
The land belongs Israel and they have gone to extreme measures to cultivate peace and prosperity for the Palestinians.
 
“I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed” Genesis 12: 2-3
